To say that Marvel has released a storm of number one issues is an understatement. It’s more of a Category 5 hurricane and even that may be selling things short. Like every major reboot, there are the truly mainstream titles such as the various Avengers and X-Men titles, then the slightly more off beat books, like Guardians of the Galaxy, and then there are the outliers. My Top 10 Favorite X-Men

Who doesn’t love the mutant filled soap opera that is X-Men? Of course, as with most soaps, the inevitable question of who is best and greatest is bound to pop up. With some many different titles and teams over the years, there are hundreds of different characters to choose from. These are my top 10. I’ll give you a hint, nobody on this list says “Bub” (That means no Wolverine).

In which, Mike Kennedy rejoins the Therefore I Geek crew to talk about some exciting news from Magnetic Press.  We discuss the new subscription service that they offer, a new, digital first book, and the book Tracy has been drooling over for months.  There were some pretty serious technical difficulties during this episode, due to the fickle nature of Skype, but the content was interesting and important, and we wanted to go ahead and share it with you guys.

Many years ago I remember reading an article that ranked the best super hero powers to have. Top among them was The Zack Morris Time Out, in other words, stopping time. Imagine the things you can do with the Zach Morris Time out! This is exactly the situation in which the characters of Sex Criminals find themselves, except, to actually stop time they have to have an orgasm. (This sounds too good to be true.)
