B Movie Review: Flash Gordon

flash

When I see the name Dino De Laurentiis attached to a movie, I immediately think of goofy science fiction and fantasy films. So obviously, when I saw it appear at the beginning of Flash Gordon I knew I was in for a special kind of treat. With only one issue remaining, issue 50 really feels like a solid conclusion to an epic adventure that has served as a point of constant stability throughout the years following the launch of the New 52. A long time ago I lamented the fact that, when DC’s New 52 came out, I had failed to read their anthology book DC Universe Presents. So when DC’s newest anthology book came out, I decided to put my money where my mouth was and pick up Legends of Tomorrow. Continue reading
